When your childhood friend calls you and asks you to photograph her wedding there’s only one thing you can say…YES!!!! Katie Marie Patton has held a dear place in my heart ever since I can remember. Whether we were on family vacations together or watching Dirty Dancing over and over and over again trying to teach ourselves the cha-cha, this girl has been cracking me up for years! She’s the most indecisive gal I’ve ever met but that quality also makes her the most understanding, unwavering friend. I can honestly say there are two choices Patton has made in her life that she didn’t rethink over and over and over again…attending The Ohio State University for college and saying YES to Mr. Leo Nocera. Leo has such a kind heart and sweet smile that he wins over just about everyone he meets – I’m certainly a fan (if you can’t tell?) They are the perfect match. He’s romantic and generous and gives Katie aaaalllllll the time she needs to make up her mind on things.
Katie and Leo said “I do” on one of the coldest May wedding days I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t particularly warm or sunny but the whole wedding party put on their happy faces and weathered the cold, resulting in some of the most stunning wedding photos we’ve ever had the pleasure of taking. I am obsessed with this wedding gallery and it was so hard to choose favorites (hence the large number of photos we included!) From the hair & make-up to the suits and ties, this wedding did not disappoint. Every little detail was carefully chosen and coordinated so beautifully, it was a photographer’s dream.
Katie and Leo, you are one of my favorite wedding couples of all time and I’m so thankful to call you friends.
