As we get ready for our first wedding of 2018, we’re reminiscing about our last wedding of 2017, Matthew and Elizabeth Proto. Matt and Beth were such a fun couple to work with. Matt’s silly sense of humor would keep his bride smiling and laughing throughout the day, which definitely helped make capturing their love authentic. We’re normally the comic reliefs of the day, but it was nice to take a backseat and laugh along with the crew. Matt and Beth were so easy to work with. They made the packed wedding day breeze by.
As we’ve mentioned before, we love when couples do a first look but very rarely will a couple see each other before they exchange their traditional vows in a church setting. But after speaking with Beth, and hearing how important the photo timeline was to her, we all agreed that was the best option. As you scroll through the photos you’ll be able to see just how many beautiful church shots we got. The extended amount of time we had with the couple paired with the beautiful balcony and gorgeous Stainglass windows allowed for us to get some the most creative church portraits we’ve ever shot. Another set of photos at the top of the priority list were with their handsome pup Byron. He was so excited to see his mom and dad all dressed up for their most special day! And going to get pet photos meant that we could also snap a couple shots by Beth’s dad’s classic car.
All of this was made possible because Matt and Beth were so flexible and willing to work with us to make sure we truly captured “them” on their wedding day. We really appreciate them understanding that good photos take time and allowing us to take the time to get those photos.
